Stepping into Hotel Willemstad felt like a delightful surprise as we were greeted by a charming establishment within a hairdresser's corner. Despite the initial confusion, the staff quickly recognized us as guests and warmly ushered us to our well-equipped room via the lift. Our room was a cozy haven, boasting a plethora of windows that allowed natural light to filter in, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. the inclusion of a fridge, coffee machine, and other amenities ensured our comfort was taken care of, adding a touch of convenience to our experience. the peaceful surroundings of the area contributed to a restful night's sleep, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. Morning arrived with a lovely surprise as the owner personally delivered a delightful breakfast spread, complete with freshly squeezed orange juice, setting a pleasant tone for the day. The true highlight of our visit, however, was the exceptional hospitality extended by the owners, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. From offering a welcome drink to providing a variety of amenities in the room, they truly made us feel like valued guests. the warmth and friendliness displayed by Dick and Lenny epitomize the genuine hospitality that made our stay truly memorable. the fusion of Dutch design aesthetics with contemporary comforts created an ambiance that catered not just to our practical needs but also to our desire for a unique and enriching experience. I can't recommend this gem of a hotel highly enough, and I look forward to revisiting it in the future.
